Children

We are a family-oriented church that encourages children to experience God and have fun at the same time! Our desire is to have a creative environment that helps kids mature in Christ.

Children dismiss right before the sermon begins to go to a classroom for Bible study, children’s worship, and activities. Grow Groups are also integrating discipleship for our children during their meeting times. Parents must accompany their children to the classroom.

• 10:00 am – Children’s Church is designed for Birth through 5th grade. They will begin in the Worship Center and are dismissed to their appropriate classrooms during the service.
  • Three classes are available:
    1. Nursery: children ages birth through 2 years. The nursery is located in the downstairs education hall.
    2. Preschool: children ages 3 years through Kindergarten. The preschool classroom is located in the downstairs education hall.
    3. Children’s church: children in grades 1st through 5th. The children’s class is located in the upstairs education hall on the right.
• Children are dismissed from worship during the 4th song. A parent must accompany their child(ren) to class. Parents, please have your child(ren) signed into the Elexio system. Each child will need to be wearing their printed sticker and the parent will need the matching sticker when picking up. If you have any questions please contact Angie King at kids@thegrove431.com

The Children’s Ministry is also involved with several events during the year:

• Easter Singing in Worship
• Scouting Classes meet each Monday at 6 pm
  • Trail Life for Boys
  • American Heritage Girls (Sabbatical in Spring of 2024)
• Kid Camps at Coldstream Christian Camp
  • Day Camp June 17-21
  • Elementary Camp June 24-28
