The Grove Church desires people to experience a worship service that is vibrant!  We include elements that are family oriented, focused on God’s character, His Word, and therefore glorifying to Him.  We call this worship service our Gathering.  It is the moment in the week where our church body gathers collectively to worship together.

This Gathering starts at 10:00am and is a great place for anyone to fit into our church. We believe that the Lord is more concerned with our hearts and minds discovering Him, than He is about the outward appearance, therefore casual attire is appropriate.  Be ready to worship with our band consisting of guitars, keyboards, drums, bass, and vocalists, and you who are part of the larger congregational choir.

We are a church that loves God’s Word! We will always encourage you to bring your Bible, but just in case we also have most of the Scripture we use presented on screen.  You are sure to grow in your understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ and God’s will for you in your life as you attend this service.  The teaching is always founded on Scripture, central on Christ, and concerned about extending grace to those who hear the message.

Finally, know this about Gathering at The Grove Church: you will leave with deepened relationships that will strengthen you for your week and each day as you walk with Jesus Christ.  You don’t want to miss this incredible weekly experience at The Grove Church.

The Bible makes it clear that Christians are not to be immature.  One of the most familiar passages that refers to the need for growth out of immaturity is found in 1 Peter 2:2.  Peter reminds us that we are to grow up into salvation instead of remaining like infants.

This maturity and growth is the basis for what we call Grow Groups.  These groups provide opportunities for growth in the Christian life.  In the life of a Grow Group you will find relationships to encourage you, friends to laugh with you, caregivers to minister to you, and fellowship to sharpen you.

Believing that Scripture makes it clear that we live together in small groups, we provide a variety of groups.  We have these groups organized according to seasons which relate to the seasons of our lives.  On Sunday mornings at 9am we there are groups for each season. On Wednesday nights from 6:30pm – 8:00pm we have one group that embraces a variety of seasons.  There are also Women’s and Men’s groups which meet regularly at the same time on Wednesday nights.

During both meeting times, on Wednesdays and Sundays, we have programs to meet the needs of children and students.  Please follow the appropriate links on our site to discover the specifics for these ages groups.

Should you commit to investing in a Grow Group at The Grove Church we know that you will mature in Christ.  The Bible gives us this promise in Ephesians 4:15, “speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”  Your investment in a Grow Group will build you up.

As a church body, we firmly believe that we are called to follow Christ’s words to “go” in Matthew 28:18-20:

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. …”

Throughout the Gospels, we see that Christ set the ultimate model for us as He made disciples, baptized them, and taught them to follow His Father’s Words, the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. The command to “go” means that, as believers in Christ, we are called to share the love and good news of Christ with ALL NATIONS – in our homes, to our neighbors in our local community, and to people in every country. God desires for EVERYONE to know Him and come to salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us in obedience to this command so that “all people would be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (paraphrased from 1 Timothy 2:4).
